Yamataikoku

Yamataikoku (邪馬台国?) ili Yamaichikoku (邪馬壹國) je kinesko-japanski naziv za drevnu zemlju u japanskom Wa za vrijeme kasnog Yayoi perioda (cca. 300. pne. – 300. n.ew). Kineska historija Sanguo Zhi (297) je prva zabilježila Yemetaiguo (邪馬臺國) iliYemayiguo (邪馬壹國) kao domenu šamanske kraljice Himiko (? - cca. 248). Generacije japanskih historičara, lingvista i historičara su raspravljale o tome gdje je Yamataikoku bila smještena i da li je bila vezana uz Yamato (大和) "Japan".
