Empowering Sustainable Tourism: A Transformative Journey Over the last week, The Traveller DMC Singapore team had the privilege of taking part in a Sustainable Tourism Awareness training session led by Ailynn Seah, CEO from The Lumiere Consultancy together with their Lead Trainer, Kevin Phun both of whom provided invaluable insights into the evolving landscape of responsible tourism. Our staff were also treated to an immersive exploration of the sustainability initiatives at Fairmont Singapore & Swissôtel The Stamford, guided by Melissa Ubana, Abel Sng and Julia Lim. From touring their in-house aquaponics garden to learning about the property’s remarkable green practices and indulging in food incorporating produce from the garden, the experience truly brought to life the pillars of sustainability that we strive for. The insights we gained and the initiatives we witnessed have left us truly inspired. As a company, we are committed to embedding sustainability into our ethos, driving change that goes beyond compliance—ensuring that it becomes the very heart of how we work, deliver, and impact our community. A huge thank you to the teams at Fairmont & Swissôtel, Ailynn and Kevin, for leading us through this transformative journey as we work towards attaining our Green certification in support of Singapore Tourism Board's Sustainability roadmap & vision. The Traveller DMC is proud to be a part of the 31st PTAA Travel Tour Expo VisMin (Visayas and Mindanao) Edition, which was held at The Atrium, Limketkai Mall, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City from July 19 to 21! After 30 years of successfully mounting the country’s largest travel trade event in Metro Manila, the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) finally brings its much-awaited TravelTour Expo to Visayas and Mindanao. The first TTE VisMin—the biggest travel event ever staged in the Visayas and Mindanao regions— showcased over 50 exhibitors, including airlines, hotels, resorts, and tourism boards through interactive exhibits and engaging booths. Attendees got to enjoy exclusive discounts on flights, accommodation, and tours but more importantly, connect closely with the rest of the trade.
