Forza Clubs reaction: ✅ This is how we influence the three fastest growing revenue streams in the future of sport: #1: Digital Products 💻📱 The willingness to pay for content and gamification has grown substantially in recent years. We have the platform and know-how to do it. Data: Forza club app usually convert 10% of free users to paying users and "behind-the-scenes & short videos" are the most important drivers for paid. #2: Data 📊💡 Our onboarding have 74% of the fans complete the fan registration, supplying their date of birth, correct name, favourite player and give data consent. The club app is a gold mine to gather fan data from NextGen fans that is not picked up by the ticket system. #3: Media Rights 📺 It makes sense to sell the media rights if the offer is right. But sometimes, keeping the rights makes sense long term – IF the club has a platform that will retain the fans for years to come. This is were a club app comes in to play – because getting "paid per one view" is not good enough. Which #content bring football fans closer to the club? And what content are fans actually willing to pay for? We operate in 10 countries around the world where we deliver the Clubs Media House (App) to help the club to take ownership of the customer journey. And the data is very, very consistent around the 🌎 The data on what content wins is as follows: 💨 Short videos is by far the most engaging media format 👑 is till the Authentic content = don't do 10 retakes 📱 Content that's shot on an iPhone is a good rule of thumb for authenticity 🤳 Shaky stuff = usually perceived as authentic 🕵♂️ Behind the scenes, is nr 1 when we ask fans "what brings fans closer to the club". Behind the scenes is also something that can only be brought to the fans - by the club itself. No other media has better access to behind the scenes than the club. The word "Authentic" is all over the data. What's great about authenticity is that it takes less time to produce authentic content. And it is probably nicer for a player to be authentic, compared to being a 🤖 (This player perspective is not facts, its opinion). 💰 💰 💰 On monetisation of content. This is growing fast and we are leading the race. The old "truth" is that in order to succeed you need to broadcast games + highlights from the games. That is simply not true ❌ On this topice, we will leave you with some very interesting data on what the Forza Club App Users claim to be the "5 best things about the club app", voted by the fans** 1. Short videos from the club (63%) 2. Long videos from the club (57%) 3. A simple way to support the club economically (42%) 4. Highlights from the games (34%) 5. 🚨 🇸🇪 Tonight, Swedish police stopped the Stockholm derby in the 76th minute. 📽️🇨🇭 Yesterday, we witnessed first hand an electric atmosphere at the Zurich derby (see film) In both games, the fans propably broke the law. In both games, no one was hurt. In both games, the audience wasn't there to see the best football players in the world... ...the fans came to support their team and for the experience in the 🏟️ Let's hope balance can be found between law enforcement and football fans. Without the great fan experience in countries like Sweden and Switzerland - people have few reasons to buy a ticket. As a company, we are not taking sides. OWNING THE FAN JOURNEY was a topic of discussion at the Athens Women's Football Summit. To take full ownership of the fan journey, we believe an application is the proper tool. Other tools such as Meta is decent when you pay them 💸 but doesn't grow the fan database. Market Automation tools are good for converting older fans to purchase, but it will never truly engage, especially never engage NextGen fans 🥁 And websites just aren't suited for interacting with fans. 💛 New fan game: "Starting 11 Predictor" - developed with the help of BSC Young Boys 🖤 It's exactly what it says out to be – fans predict the team formation and Starting 11, earn points for every correct player and compete with other fans in the leaderboard in the club application 📱 The Starting 11 Predictor is a fully automated app feature that increase fan engagement before each game, usually together with the simpler game “Predict the Score”.
