Francis Preston Blair

Francis Preston Blair, Sr. (12 Aprile 1791 – 18 October 1876) or Preston Blair wis an American journalist, politician, and a spy durin the American Civil War for the North.

Blair wantit to reunite the North and the South durin the war. Blair helpit to create the Republican Party. He supportit many Democrats, but was mostly the ally of Republican President Abraham Lincoln. He is nicknamed The Father of the Republican Party since he foundit the Republican Party.
