Juhee Ahn is currently a professor of medical biomaterials engineering at Kangwon National University, Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. in food science from the University of Missouri—Columbia, USA (2003), and has continued his work as a post-doctoral research assistant at the Food Microbiology Lab at the University of Missouri (2003–2004). He also has worked in the Food Safety and Engineering Lab at Ohio State University (2004–2006). He was a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland (2012–2013) and at Zhejiang University (2016–2017). His primary research field is microbial pathogenesis, including mechanistic studies of antibiotic resistance, bacterial infection, and bacteriophage control.
