Prof. Shuqi Wang received his M.S. degree in Genetics from the School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University in 2003 and his Ph.D. degree in Marine Biology from the Institute of Marine Biology, Shantou University in 2013. He has successively worked as a research intern, assistant researcher, and associate professor at the Institute of Marine Biology, Shantou University since 2003, and from 2019 to the present, he has been an associate professor and head of the Department of Biology, Shantou University. He is mainly engaged in the research of fish nutrition and feed science and fish lipid molecular nutrition, including the fish LC-PUFA anabolic pathway and molecular regulation mechanism research; fish glycolipid metabolic pathway interaction molecular mechanism research; and the development of active substances with the regulation of lipid metabolism in fish.
