Prof. Dr. Vassilios Fanos is a Full Professor at the Pediatrics University of Cagliari. He completed his M.Sc. studies at Verona University School of Medicine and Surgery and his Ph.D. studies at the Padua University School of Medicine and Surgery (1982). In addition, he is a Board Member of the Italian Society of Neonatology and a member of the National Pediatric Commissions on Risk Management, the European Workshop of Neonatology, and the International Perinatal Collegium. He is also an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pediatric and Neonatal Individualized Medicine and a Reviewer of 30 international journals. He has published over 560 papers. His research topics mainly include Microbiota.
