Wisit Cheungpasitporn, M.D., is a nephrologist in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. He specializes in treating acute kidney failure and kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, hypertension, kidney stones, and electrolyte abnormalities. He is certified in both internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree with First Class Honors from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. He then completed an internal medicine residency training at Bassett Medical Center in New York. Afterward, he came to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and completed nephrology fellowship training.
