Dr. Maria Cristina
Manara is a Senior Investigator at the Laboratory of Experimental
Oncology, IOR. She obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of
Bologna in 1991. Her research interests include preclinical studies on the
development of targeted therapies for sarcomas with a particular emphasis on the
anti-metastatic effects; drug resistance; and the identification of critical targets in
sarcoma with prognostic and therapeutic relevance.
