Prof. Dr. Anamaria Mello Miranda Paniago graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul—UFMS in 1987. She received her Master’s degree and completed her PhD studies in Tropical Medicine at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in 2000 and 2005, respectively. She is a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine at UFMS, where she works in the Postgraduate Programs in Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and Health and Development in the Central-West Region. She has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, mainly systemic mycoses, paracoccidioidomycosis, leishmaniasis, and AIDS.
