Adamantios Kilias is a Professor of Structural Geology at the Department of Geology and Paleontology, School of Geology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He got his doctorate in geology at the University of Thessaloniki. His research in the fields of Structural Geology, Tectonics, and their applications is related especially to the investigation of the geological–structural evolution of Hellenic geotectonic zones and the study of their continuity towards the north in the surrounding countries, as well as in the Alps and Betides.
