Curriculum Vitae Flavio Sacchini Education and Training 2016–2019: Veterinary Doctorate at the University of Berna (Swiss), Institute of Bacteriology. 2006–2009: Specialization in Animal Health, Breeding, and Hygiene of Animal Productions – 3 years Post-Graduate University School, University of Teramo, Italy 2005–2006: Master of Science in Immunology (MCs), Imperial College London (UK) 2001: Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Teramo, Italy Competence and skills He has worked in the field of Animal Health with a special focus on pathogenesis, immunology, and diagnosis of veterinary diseases such as Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia, Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia, and Brucellosis. He has long-term experience in carrying out and coordinating research activities on in vivo animal trials with ruminants and in vitro models to investigate host-pathogen interaction and host immunity. In recent years, he has also been involved in research projects to develop and validate diagnostic tests for the serological diagnosis of infectious animal diseases and zoonosis. h-index: 15
