Thierry Noguer is Professor of Biochemistry at University of Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD, France) and deputy director of BAE-LBBM laboratory (UAR 3579). He received his PhD in Agrochemistry in 1997. In 1998, he worked as a JSPS post-doctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo (RCAST). He obtained the position of Associate Professor at UPVD in 1999 and was promoted to full Professor in 2008. His research focuses on the development of enzyme, immuno-, and aptasensors for the detection of components and pollutants in the environment and food. He is the author and a co-author of more than 80 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as 16 book chapters.
