Dr. Md Fashiar Rahman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) at The University of Texas at El Paso. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Computational Science in 2021 and 2018, respectively. Dr. Rahman has made significant contributions to the fields of medical imaging, image data mining, machine learning, and deep learning, with a particular focus on industrial and healthcare applications. Additionally, he serves as the Co-Investigator for multiple funded projects supported by the US National Science Foundation, the US Department of Education, and various industries.
