Dr. Domenico Piccolo

Dr. Domenico Piccolo is one of the leading national and international experts in the field of videodermoscopy and the prevention of cutaneous melanoma and in the field of lasers applied in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. He is the creator of the Trichobiolight patent, a unique and exclusive method (scientifically validated) for the treatment of hair problems such as androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, telogen effluvium, and miniaturized hair. He is one of the world's leading experts in atrophic, hypertrophic, and keloid scars. He is the president of Novea Skin Center srl, a medical franchising company, and a promoter of the Novea Skin Center Network. He is a Member of the Board of the Italian Association of Outpatient Dermatologists (AIDA); he was the President of the Association for the two-year period 2015-16 and holds the position of Marketing Manager of the Association. He is the past Vice President of the Italian Society of Laser Dermatology (SILD). He has been a member of the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom since 2009, and he worked at the Skinfinity Cosmetic Clinic in Leeds. He is the author of more than 130 international publications, 6 books, and numerous book chapters. He has been a speaker at more than 400 national and international congresses, and he is currently a contract professor at the Dermatological Clinic of the University of L'Aquila.
