Prof. Fengming Yan is a Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Plant Protection, Henan Agricultural University, Zhengzhou, China. He is also the Deputy Director of the Chemical Ecology Professional Committee of the Chinese Ecological Society. He received his Master’s degree from Northwest China Agricultural University and his Ph.D. from Peking University. His current main research directions are chemical ecology, feeding behavior of sucking insects, plant-vector-virus interactions, and new technologies for prevention and control of piercing-sucking insects and plant viruses, and systematics and classification of whitefly insects, etc.
