Current position: Senior lecturer and head of department at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Department of Viticulture and Enology, Maribor, Slovenia.
Degree: Ph.D. in Agronomy and Viticulture, 2016, the University of Maribor, Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Department of Viticulture and Enology, Maribor, Slovenia.
Since March 1999, employed at the Faculty of Agriculture and Biosystem Sciences, Maribor.
Research interests: general viticulture, ecology of viticulture.
Projects:
Introduction of new PIWI varieties.
Adaptation of grape production to climate change and preservation of biodiversity.
Biological control of vine aphids with 'Boerner' rootstock and its influence on the growth and fertility of grapevines and compatibility with certain varieties.
Implementation of exercises in viticulture and winemaking
Member of the Professional Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Slovenia,
Member of the Wine Tasting Commission of Slovenia.
