Daniele Cattaneo was born in Bergamo, Italy in 1991. He earned the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science at the Università degli Studi di Milano - Bicocca in 2016.
He received the Ph.D. degree at the same university in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Domenico G. Sorrenti, with a thesis on urban vehicles' localization with machine learning techniques.
He is currently a post.doc at the Robotic Learning and Autonomous Intelligent Systems groups of the University of Freiburg.
His research interest lies in the field of perception and localization for autonomous vehicles, with focus on machine learning for localization and heterogeneous sensors matching.
