Sungbo Cho is a Professor of Electronic Engineering at Gachon University, Seongnam, Republic of Korea. He received his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering at Korea University, Republic of Korea, in 2001, and a Dr. Ing. degree in Physics and Mechatronics at Saarland University/Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Germany, in 2008. His interests focus on the biomicroelectromechanical systems manipulating DNA, protein, cells, or tissues and bioimpedance characterizing non-destructive and real-time electrical properties. His research topics include the basic understanding of biology to the fabrication of in vitro/vivo sensors and electronic devices for clinical applications.
