Prof. Dr. Patrick Palmieri is a nurse leader, global health expert, and research methodologist with more than 20-years work experience in academia and industry. Previously, he co-led a USD 300+ million project resulting in the largest vertically integrated health delivery system in Peru; and he earned the first successful international hospital accreditation in Peruvian history. Presently, Dr. Palmieri directs two international research centers including the EBHC South America (JBI Affiliated Group) and the South American Center for Qualitative Research (Universidad Norbert Wiener). He is also a professor for the Postgraduate Program in Nursing (Universidad Norbert Wiener) and an adjunct professor in the College of Graduate Health Studies (A.T. Still University) and the Center for Global Nursing (Texas Woman's University). Dr. Palmieri is an associate editor for three leading international journals and editorial board member for seven other journals. He has also served on the boards of directors for corporations, foundations, and professional organizations. Dr. Palmieri was the first Peruvian inducted into the American Academy of Nursing and awarded the prestigious Fellow Ad Eundem of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery.
