Dr. Valentina Nino is an assistant
professor at the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering
Technology, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Kennesaw State
University (KSU). She received her Ph.D in Industrial, Management, and Systems
Engineering and her Master's in Industrial and Management Engineering, both from Montana State University. Her research interests
include human factors, ergonomics, cognitive science, optimization, simulation,
process improvement, and decision-making models. The overarching goal of her research is to change how healthcare services are delivered by making them
more efficient, effective, proactive, and patient-centered.
