Francesco Donsì has been a Full Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Salerno (Italy), since 2020, where he is also the Rectors’ delegate for Internationalization, and where he has been the coordinator of the Ph.D. program in Industrial Engineering (2017-2023). He was a Visiting Professor with an individual Marie Curie Intra European Fellowship at Unilever R&D Vlaardingen (The Netherlands) (2014-15) and a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Food Science at Rutgers University (US) (2008). His research activities focus on emerging technologies for food sanitization/transformation, especially using high-pressure homogenization and biomass extraction in biorefineries.
