Sittiruk Roytrakul received his B.Sc. in Medical Technology from Chiang Mai University in 1992 and obtained his M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Mahidol University in 1996. Between 1999 and 2004, he received a Thai government scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. study in Phytochemistry at Leiden University, The Netherlands. Currently, he is working as the Research Team Leader of the Functional Proteomics Technology Team at the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. He has dedicated years to improving proteomics technology using his knowledge in biochemistry, medical science, and phytochemistry.
