This work in progress paper presents a story-based approach in a simulation-based
learning environment in the context of crisis management. We offer a reflexive approach to
learning for adults based on the uchronia. Our game design UCHRONIE offers two phases
of simulation. During the scenario, the learner will explore several possible worlds. During
the debriefing, he may view several possible alternatives to the scenario as a timeline.
