Zoomies! Cat Racing

I think there should be secret cheat codes for secret cat skins (not any different stats) or scrapped cats in general (different stats, maybe bengal or prussian blue), maybe even munchkin (as a joke cat cheat code with worst stats).  

And if you do end up implementing the retro-style secret codes, can you add a secret skin or cat for my cat Nugget? She has jade eyes, grayish light-brown and sleek black stripes, she's mainly a crossbreed between a Tabby and a Bengal, with a little bit of Prussian Blue. She has a scar on her left ear and is a very feisty cat, she fights with every cat that she comes across. It'd make my day to see my senior cat on a racing cat game! I've got a picture of her (before the scar) if you'd like it for reference.

Edit: Discord is "thegamesquad" and i could help for ideas, I'd love to help with the development of this game. One example i had an idea of is a Cat Cafe, racing on bar counters and whatnot, being the "Baby Park" of the game with 8 laps and a small oval track

Edit 3, Suggestions Galore: another idea for a suggestion, how about a large mansion track with a cat gym as a possible "Rainbow Ride" style track with guided jumps and such. Speaking of jumps, One thing that i find inconsistent are the jumps in the game, they're very hard to predict and not flip over on. Another track idea could be a Laser tag arena as a sort of a Tron-esque Vaporwave aesthetic track with a vaporwave cat skin reward to match for getting 1st place on hard. Last and final track idea i have is a large Cat Show track that acts as the game's "Wario Stadium" with fire hoop hazards and stage hazards that are unique to this stage like packing peanuts (equivalent of mario kart's lightning/banana but as a stage hazard) and/or chained dogs (equivalent of mario kart's piranha plant stage hazard), and two or three cheat code ideas for you, "CATNIP" a cheat code that can be entered in singleplayer, or alternatively in multiplayer, a percentage of people have to enter the cheatcode for the catnip gamemode. This gamemode would make all cats in the room or race act as if it were mariokart's 200cc, but with much harder control and steering and a catnip decal overlayed onscreen as a sort of a "chaotic mode". Second cheat code idea is another gamemode idea, "HISSFIT", which as before, applied in singleplayer immediately and multiplayer with a vote. This gamemode would function similarly to Balloon Battle from mario kart, and would have a special map to go along with it. There will be a winner declared by how many "Hits" someone got in total, or it will be team mode, graded by team average, which can be a variant of the original code as "TEAMHISS". These could also alternatively be implemented as a gamemode.

I was disappointed that the multiplayer is not working. I mean, the button is disabled. I thought I had to complete some levels to unlock it but it didn't work like that. 

Overall, the game is pretty nice, it's relaxing and stuff. However, I'd like to see more variety on the maps like shortcuts and maybe some additional obstacles. And of course it would be nice to see more cats. Thanks for the game, it's one of the coolest indie games I've played for the last months

Just played a bit of the demo and have some feedback. Mostly about difficulty. Played it on easy and found it tough to even come 5th place. AI cats significantly faster than starter cat, and always avoid obstacles. The handling is pretty tough too. Too easy to spin out and a lot of getting stuck clipping through things having to reset. Found the screeching sound a bit grating too. Love the concept and fun enough but would be better if those things were addressed.

its a great idea and game but i have a few problems, for example the difficulty bonus in the money doesnt work, or other thing is that sometime the cat flyes for no reason or steer waay too much. anyway great game idea if you do it well you can make history!! :D

very fun! playing on controller, I do wish there was a way to lower sensitivity for steering. But I'm getting the hang of it :) excited to keep playing!

When the next update is coming ?? Can't wait :3

It wouldn't update the game in the itchio app and so I uninstalled it. When reinstalling, it reports an error "Cannot read property 'build' of undefined" but installing it from the website directly works.

Great game: me and my brother really enjoyed playing it

I've always sucked at racing games, Mario Kart...etc. lol. So, here's mine!

This game has a lot of potential to be a good racing game. I had an issue with turning but I bet the controls are a lot better using a controller .  I hope the full version has way more kitties to pick from  :) 

Cada vez qye vuelvo a jugar el juego mejora bastante, me gusta la implementacion de impulsadores, los npc, los vehículos, obstaculos, y el cambio grafico al estilo de los simpsons se ven geniales, el juego es muy divertido y tiene futuro, faltan arreglar algunos puntos en los niveles que se bugean pero despues el juego es maravilloso

Funniest thing I've played in a minute, it's also a lot of fun! My only real complaint is tight turning is really hard since using your break to simulate a drift makes you do a 180, but I suppose that's also the point. Other than that a lot of fun! Can't wait for the multiplayer release

Actually a fantastic idea of a game! I love this take on a racing game! The drifting is a little wild, but I can't wait to see this fully! Great work!

been following this game for months now and gotta say i had an absolute blast with this new update!!! love the music as well! will definitely be getting the full release. (scottish fold kinda goated ngl)

This was an awesome, funny and cute game! Took a second to get used to the controls and the drifting but once I did it plays great. I managed to get first and second place in both tracks, great job! I recommend and will play more when multiplayer is added. Here is my gameplay video!

So is it only demo's atm? I looked on youtube and their game is very different than mine. Yes I paid for it, I just want to know I got the right one.. Only link to download is the demo :(

Hello, this game is very similar to a old browser game I used to play about cats racing but it was indoors. I was wondering if you got inspired by that game and if so, do you remember what it was called? I cannot find it anywhere.
