It’s a special occasion when the whole Piaxo team is together. It’s when we strategize best and feel most connected. This time we chose to end our work day by taking a tour of our hometown, #ClujNapoca, before having a fun dinner.

Do you know your brake fluid level? You might not—especially if a critical warning system fails to notify you. That’s exactly what happened last week in the US with a General Motors recall affecting almost 500.000 vehicles due to a software issue that didn’t display low brake fluid warnings. Also last week, BMW recalled 1.5 million vehicles over a braking issue that could endanger drivers and passengers alike. Even though the brakes still function, a fault in the electronic braking support system could make stopping the vehicle harder than it should be. The good news? Some issues like these can be fixed through over-the-air (OTA) updates, minimizing the need for dealership visits. But not all problems can be solved so easily. These incidents highlight why #Functional #Safety is essential in the automotive industry.
