Risk Management

Risk Management safeguards the assets of the University from loss and destruction by assisting in the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and elimination of loss exposures that arise out of the campus’ academic, research, student, and business activities. Risk Management performs its duties in accordance with the directives and general guidelines of the UC Office of the President Risk Services and administers insurance programs and policies to facilitate recovery when losses occur.
