The Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) reviews and submits research proposals, negotiates and accepts awards on behalf of the UC Regents and drafts, negotiates and executes (outgoing) subawards for collaborative research. Select the topic below for more information and relevant instructions.
Per UC policy, all proposals for extramural funding must be submitted through SPO except for limited submission pre-proposals and pre-proposals that do not require a budget, institutional signature/approval, or acceptance of terms and conditions at the proposal stage.
