A team of absolute beginners reached out to me for help with their first jam. I knew from the start the game would never be finished, but I didn't find a team for the jam, so I figured I'd help out. I also didn't mention we had no prayer of finishing because they were beginners and I didn't want to discourage them. I did manage to teach some basic source control though, which I hope helps them down the road.
