Abstract: This text seeks to address the implications in the field of education during
the Bolsonaro Government, assessing the harmful impacts of his government in
relation to public education policy, including issues related to the 1988 Constitution,
LDB and referring to Law nº 13.935/2019 and its importance for the work of Social
Workers and Psychologists in Brazilian Basic Education, in view of the repercussions
of the expressions of the social issue in the school environment, promoting free and
quality public education, carried out through serious and technical work, through the
implementation of multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams. The present work was
carried out through bibliographical research, of a qualitative nature and of the state of
the art, through the method related to historical-dialectical materialism, seeking to
understand the relevance of the work of Psychology and Social Work in Brazilian public
education. However, the results obtained converge on an essential implementation of
this service, with a view to guaranteeing the construction and strengthening of an
education that strengthens and promotes critical subjects and citizens committed to
social rights, through the carrying out of school social work by teams formed by
Assistants Social and Psychologists, considering the harmful repercussions of the
capitalist mode of production, as well as its necessary abolition.
