Bill tries to convince Julie to forget about Clarke and publish the manuscript. Julie is torn between her lingering feelings for Clarke and Bill's obvious devotion for her. Jake calls Macy to convince her to take another tennis lesson with him. Felicia arrives intent to follow up on the nice dinner party the other night. Jake feels visibly uneasy. Sally notices a glow with Macy who reveals that she is seeing a new man. Suddenly, Thorne shows up. Clarke visits Julie and tells her that his wife terminated the pregnancy and that he will not sleep with Sally anymore. Julie asks Clarke for time to consider this new piece of information.
