A noble Spaniard, Don Ferdinand, one day catches sight of Marion and becomes her devoted admirer. After a few days of standing outside her window, he finally enters the house to declare his passion. To get rid of him, Marion tells him that she is already married. He then declares that her husband must die, and goes searching for him. One after another, the men in the piece are mistaken for the husband, and he tries to fight them all. In the end Marion succumbs to this passion - it seems the only way to kill it. See less
