However, in one day, the Great Demon War suddenly ended in a battle that leveled an entire city. That was twenty years ago. Now, a mysterious enemy has come forth and the shadow of the Demon Lord looms over the world once more. Ichiyari and Ando Matsumoto, the direct heirs to the Matsumoto Clan, join forces with Shigamaru Ashita, a plucky cook with a taste for adventure, and Lin Yoshida, a beautiful yet deadly ninja, in an effort to keep their world from the brink of total annihilation.
