A trusted friend invites ...See moreRebecca Cassidy, an attractive woman in her 30s, is lost in the virtual world, a digital rabbit hole that too many of us have fallen down. Emails, texts, zoom calls and internet time are constantly bombarding her. A trusted friend invites Rebecca to come visit and get some time for rest and relaxation. Much to her reluctance, and her need to finish her work, Rebecca gives in and heads off to visit her friend. On her journey, all quickly turns into a nightmare. She gets lost in the pitch black night, her GPS fails, and her car battery dies leaving her stranded in the middle of nowhere. She searches aimlessly for a cellphone signal, but to no avail. Exhausted, she falls asleep in her car. Rebecca wakes up just before dawn, and quickly returns to her search for a digital connection. Much to her surprise, her walkabout has led her into the wide open space of the desert. The sun begins to rise, and Rebecca is overcome its beauty, and through an encounter with one of God's small creatures, she has an awakening to the majesty of the natural world and that which is bigger than ourselves.
