He brings together his mercenaries to oppose the marriage of the one he loves, by force. However, Otho escapes the wrath of his rival, thanks to the support of the giant Hercos, protector of his family who hides him in the cave of the fairy, Urgele. She, wanting to know his courage, makes him undergo formidable trials through which the young warrior valiantly triumphs and the fairy, to reward him, gives him the fiery armor which will protect him against all his enemies.
