Hockey is a way of life up here, where children, both boys and girls begin to skate as soon as they can walk. The winters are brutally cold and the hockey tradition goes back to the beginning of the sport in the US. The teams meet two times a year and every one comes out to watch. Players, Coaches, Families and Fans live and breath the most important high school hockey rivalry in in the nation, their eyes fixed on the State Tournament at the X in St. Paul, and the quest to recapture glory and gold.
