Journalist & Broadcaster Mary Ann Sieghart, and Liberal Democratic mayoral candidate Brian Paddick, reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. By video link Andrew spoke to Garry Kasparov, former chess grand master and now leader of "The Other Russia" Coalition about the unfairness of the current Russian elections and why these elections are not free and fair. Also by video link from Red Square, Andrew spoke to President Putin's official spokesman, Dimtry Peskov, who replied to the comments and accusations made by Gary Kasparov. The former Head of the Army, General Sir Mike Jackson spoke to Andrew about Prince Harry's tour of duty in Afghanistan which was brought to an end abruptly this week when details of Prince Harry's deployment was leaked on a website. Again, via video link from the Labour Spring conference in Birmingham, the deputy leader of the Labour party, Harriet Harmon MP spoke to Andrew about political financing especially members' salaries and expenses. Andrew highlighted the cases of Derek Conway MP and the Speaker, Michael Martin MP, who have been vilified in the press in recent months. Singer KT Tunstall, talked about her recent work and her environmental activism. One of her songs is used by Senator Hilary Clinton whilst campaigning to be President of the USA.
