She runs into her ex who is now dating someone else, and the girl he is dating is very insecure when the singer is with him. She confronts the singer, and the singer hits her knocking her out. Her manager who likes the singer tells her that she's dead but in actuality is not. He tells the singer to leave and he'll handle it, he wakes her up and he gets her out before anyone sees her. They talk and he wants her to pretend to be dead. The manager likes the singer and if can make the singer think she killed her, he can make her do whatever he wants. But she doesn't want to give the singer a chance to go after her ex so she tries to go back. But the manager runs her over. Her father then hires Barnaby to find out what happened to her.
