I found myself checking to see if this was a self- published book written by a high school student, as that might excuse the poor quality of this story. But no. No character development, no common sense, no sort of reality whatsoever. The entire book felt contrived and clichèd, and what was intended to be plot twists came off as merely the author finding herself a way out from writing herself into a corner. The dialog was stilted and unbelievable, as were the actions of the main characters. And don't get me started on the ending..

This book felt unnecessarily dragged out. The characters in this book were not believable, I had absolutely no investment in them, particularly Olivia who was painfully pathetic from start to finish. It was clear that attempts had been made to make her strong and independent, but unfortunately this did not come across on the page. Sadly I couldn't finish it all, skipping 80 odd pages to get to the end.

Words fail me. This is the worst book I have ever read. Not even worth the 99p I paid for it. Plot was implausible, vocabulary excruciating, clichéd to the enth degree. Do not bother with this author. One star because I could not submit my opinion without any.
