At Greenvolt Power, we are dedicated to driving the transition to a clean energy future through wind energy solutions created by experts specialized in the development and construction of wind projects. We guide each project from the initial planning stage, providing reliable, efficient and sustainable energy infrastructures. Our team uses extensive industry knowledge, comprehensive planning and the latest technology to ensure that each wind project is technically sound and financially viable and we surround ourselves with trusted partners to be able to provide end-to-end support that ensures projects run smoothly at every stage. The construction and installation of a wind turbine is a rigorous process that requires precision, experience and careful planning at every step. From the initial groundwork, which involves assessing the site and laying foundations to support the turbine's massive structure, to the complex logistics of transporting and assembling large, specialized components, each step has to be carried out with meticulous attention to detail.

Over the past two days, Greenvolt Power has joined leaders and innovators in the wind energy sector at #SpreeWindtage, a prominent event focused on the advancement of #windenergy across Europe. During the event, our team gained important insights into the advances that are already having an impact and discussed future initiatives to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. These conversations reaffirmed the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving a #sustainablefuture powered by green energy. Spreewindtage gave us the opportunity to showcase our commitment to renewable energy and provided a platform to exchange ideas and knowledge on how to drive the growth of this sector in #Germany.

Last week Greenvolt Power's U.S. Country Manager, Donald Carrillo, had the pleasure to moderate the “Margin Movers: Technologies Driving Increased Profitability in Solar & Storage Assets” panel at this year’s Solar and Storage Finance Series USA Conference. During the session, Donald engaged with other industry experts and explored how emerging technologies are improving asset performance and maximizing ROI. Understanding how to leverage cutting-edge technologies to maximize operational efficiency is key to delivering stronger returns from our projects. We are grateful for the insights shared by the panelists and we look forward to seeing these ideas be put into action across the industry!

We're approaching the end of the year, but biodiversity-related activities are still going strong. Once again, at the Trzemeszno Solar Farm in Poland, in partnership with ŁĄKI KWIETNE, we’re implementing biodiversity actions that make a real difference to the site's fauna and flora. This time, we were able to see the results of the last application, where we placed stumps with holes of different diameters across the farm to attract wild bees that nest in the wood and also added some grassland habitats by sowing xerothermic and sandy meadows. “Dead wood plays a crucial role in natural ecosystems, serving as a habitat rich in biodiversity. Certain species of bees and other insects prefer to nest in wood, which makes it important to leave wood piles and stumps in natural environments,” explains Sylwia Jaruga-Białaś, Greenvolt Power Environmental and Biodiversity Expert. By closely monitoring these initiatives, Greenvolt Power not only assesses the strategy’s impact but also actively supports biodiversity and environmental preservation in the region.

The proximity to local communities continues from country to country and Greenvolt Group's new initiative, #PlugIntoKnowledge, brought a little more about the world of renewables to youngers and seniors. This time in Alentejo region (southern #Portugal), the iniciative to promote energy literacy was held at the Terena #SolarFarm, welcoming children from São Romão School and students from Vila Viçosa Senior University for short sessions on solar energy and photovoltaic modules. The groups had also the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice and try it out first-hand in a workshop organized in partnership with Academia das Ciências de Lisboa, which brought these two generations together in solar and wind pratical experiences. Promoting these initiatives, which bring together #renewableenergies and local communities, makes it possible to highlight the existing benefits and how to integrate green solutions into everyday life.

#EnergyStorage remains a key factor when it comes to #renewableenergies and Greenvolt Power will be addressing the topic at the next edition of Solarplaza. Antonio Montoto Rojo, Head of energy storage will be a part of the panel discussion with the theme "Discover the Latest Breakthroughs in Hybrid Renewable Assets Combining Wind, Solar, and Storage" at the second edition of the event, focused on energy storage, which will take place in Madrid, Spain, on October 24. This edition of Solar plaza Summit Energy Storage Spain marks a significant leap forward in the Spanish energy storage market, as the government is increasingly active with regard to measures to boost projects related to renewable energies and, hence, energy storage.

Last Thursday, we officially inaugurated the Tábua Photovoltaic Power Plant, an important project for the Greenvolt Group, which also represents a significant contribution to the #energytransition in #Portugal. With the launch of the #solarfarm, which was introduced by Ricardo Cruz, Mayor of Tábua, and our CEO João Manso Neto, we were able to show the close connection with the local community and also the potential advantages that this project will bring not only to the municipality but also to the development of a green future. To make the event even more special, we organized a guided tour of the park for students from the local secondary school, to give them more knowledge about #renewableenergies and learn first-hand how a solar park works. This inspiring moment marked the start of another #Greenvolt initiative, Plug into Knowledge | The First Step to Energy Transition, which aims to empower individuals through energy literacy in various locations across the country. Stay tuned and follow the next locations! 💡

Last week, our team of Energy Storage experts attended the Energy Storage Central Eastern Europe event, which took place in #Poland on September 24 and 25. Among many sessions and panel discussions, Greenvolt Power was present on the “Hungary: The Business Case”, with the participation of Antonio Montoto Rojo, head of Energy Storage and also Jan Kloczko Kłoczko, Deputy Commercial Director at Greenvolt Power who was present to discuss the topic of “Building the Pipeline: Capacity Market Auctions in Poland”. Both sessions were rich in information about the future of this technology in both locations, which are very strong markets and where Greenvolt Power is present.

The Greenvolt Group concluded the first half of 2024 with revenues of €188.0 million, representing a 42% year-on-year increase. EBITDA reached €26.5 million, with the overall net profit attributable to Greenvolt of €-19.0 million. These results reflect the Group's ongoing investment phase, with nearly 800 MW of assets currently under construction and distributed generation operations being launched across six countries, aligned with the expectations and planned trajectory. Regarding the #UtilityScale segment, the total probability-weighted pipeline capacity has grown by 904 MW since the end of 2023, bringing it to 9.3 GW, of which 2.1 GW are RtB, 782 MW are under construction and 305 MW are in operation. During this period, the Group has also positioned itself as a key player in the energy storage market, with preliminary works on the first battery #energystorage projects (BESS).

Yesterday was #WorldEnergyStorageDay, and Greenvolt Power would like to acknowledge its importance to the energy transition and, in turn, the preservation of the world we live in. BESS is the topic of the moment and we are committed to developing this technology to its fullest, as we were identified earlier this year, as one of Europe's top players in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and a major developer on a global scale. As the world accelerates its transition to renewable energies, #energystorage is key to unlocking the full potential of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind, allowing us to: ✅ Balance grid demand ✅ Reduce carbon emissions ✅ Enhance energy security ✅ Power a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
