About FP PeaceGames & Simulations

FP Analytics applies its rigorous research capabilities to the ideation and production of scenario-based crisis simulations that facilitate innovative thinking to help meet partners’ diplomatic, strategic, or business objectives.

FP’s Simulations and PeaceGames convene leading minds in national security policy, international affairs, academia, business and industry, and civil society to "game" out pathways to more effectively mitigate and collaboratively manage complex and cross-border risks. Simulations are held in person as well as on a bespoke virtual platform that enables participation from around the world. They can be closed-door or produced as part of a public forum.

Each year Foreign Policy convenes leading minds in national security policy, international affairs, academia, business, and civil society to "game" out how to bring seemingly intractable conflicts to a peaceful conclusion. This exercise, which we call PeaceGame, offers a chance to address the challenges of conflict resolution and peacebuilding with the same creativity and focus as has been traditionally devoted to war games. Similarly, we host FP Simulations in partnership with corporate clients and other partners, which tend to be closed door exercises where business leaders and other global stakeholders confront destabilizing geopolitical threats and crisis scenarios to help inform strategic planning, risk mitigation, and corporate resilience-building for their organizations.
