Anmol Chaddha

Principal

Anmol Chaddha serves as a principal at Omidyar Network. In this role, he leads work on economic inequality with a particular focus on jobs and workers, especially as it relates to ongoing technological change.

Anmol previously managed the California Future of Work Commission created by Governor Gavin Newsom to develop a broad agenda to promote economic equity in the state. Anmol has extensive experience in policy and social science research on economic inequality, racial inequality, low-wage work, job quality, debt, and wealth. At the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, he established an initiative to improve the quality of jobs in low-wage industries, led research on racial wealth inequality, and examined the rising debt burdens of low-income families.

He holds a Ph.D. from Harvard, where he was a fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
