An odd routine while she’s wide awake.
Katy Perry revealed all of her beauty and health essentials for British Vogue’s “In the Bag” series — and a lint roller took center stage.
“I swear by my lint roller,” Perry, 39, explained as she removed dust from her dress. “I will lint roll the bottom of my feet before I get into bed. Is that weird? Do we all have weird things like that? I think we do. I just shared mine with the world.”‘
Perry’s affection for lint rollers isn’t new. In 2015, she humorously tweeted that Khloe Kardashian should use them for her velvet car seats, with a photo of lint rollers captioned: “For the whip.”
In the Vogue interview, Perry also shared that her purse’s contents have changed since giving birth to her and Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy in 2020.
“[I] always have a snack, always have water for her. Always have, like, a little toy or something that she can play with,” she explained.
Another standout item Perry revealed is the Solawave red light therapy wand, which she admitted to stealing from Bloom, 47.
“When I’m not wearing makeup, I do some skin prep. Okay, I swear by this little guy. It’s called the Solawave. I stole this from Orlando’s [Golden] Globes gift basket,” she explained.
“It’s just this little pen, and it’s so handy, dandy,” continued Perry. “Turn it on. And it’s red light therapy. And I just go up, up, up. I’m doing work, I’m taking calls. Red light therapy just helps create more collagen, I think, and bring your skin back to life. Health is wealth.”
The former “American Idol” judge is gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated album, “143,” on September 20.
She last released her fifth album “Smile” in August 2020 and recently performed in Las Vegas for her “Play” residency, which ran from 2021 to 2023.
The final performance in November signified her next era’s beginning.
“I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” she said in a statement after announcing the album.
The album’s first single, “Woman’s World,” was released that same month. Her second single, “Lifetimes,” was released on Thursday with a brand-new music video.
