Our CEO, Kurt Sievers, took the stage at Semicon India 2024 and talked about India’s transformational journey in the semiconductor space. Highlighting the importance of collaboration and ambition, he said, “It is a significant milestone because, in all my experience in the semiconductor industry, there are three attributes for success: ambition, trust, and collaboration. Looking at all of you is a strong sign that collaboration is starting to come together in India.” Kurt reiterated NXP's commitment to fostering the R&D ecosystem in India. He applauded the Indian government's focus on expanding the semiconductor ecosystem and expressed NXP's enthusiasm to continue being a part of India's technology growth story. Later in the day, Kurt addressed to the ESDM industry on "Creating a Vibrant Semiconductor Ecosystem in India." He shared valuable insights on the Indian market and explored exciting growth trends, particularly in EVs and smart, connected devices like smart meters, which contribute to renewable energy efforts and a more sustainable environment.
