Today, Lottie's got tales from the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan! Her time in the UAE was packed with hands-on learning! She took the helm in our remote operations centre (ROC), piloting our uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) and conducting subsea surveys. Then, it was off to #ADIPEC exhibition, where the team were showcasing our latest innovations and connecting with clients to help support their energy projects! It's the last few days of her trip and Lottie is at #COP29 in Azerbaijan along with Talia Sherrard! Lottie has finally come to Asia. 🌟 Lottie is back with #TeamFugro as we join Women's Engineering Society to celebrate Tomorrow’s Engineers Week! This year, our adventurous Lotties, are on a mission to explore our offices across the globe to help ignite the passion for engineering! Kicking off in the UK, Lottie brought sunshine to Aberdeen! ☀️ She dipped her toes in the North Sea 🌊 and visited the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre. This innovative wind farm lets companies test technologies in real-world conditions, including the world’s first fully remote inspection with our Blue Essence® uncrewed surface vessel (USVs). Next, she visited our workshops, 🛠️ getting hands-on with the flameproof 🔥 enclosure and calibrating our sensor boards to ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations. She wrapped up her visit spending time with our team in the remote operations centre (ROC). Unveiling the future of lunar exploration! 🚀🌕 Fugro and Intuitive Machines unveil a prototype of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s official visitor centre. This project, part of NASA’s Artemis campaign, exploring the Moon for scientific discovery and technology advancement, is preparing for human missions to Mars. Fugro is developing software architecture, mission planning tools, and mission operations for feasibility assessment, with our SpAARC facility serving as a Southern Hemisphere Mission Control hub in Australia.
