Hi, hello!

I'm Naarel! Ever since I was a child, I loved writing stories and sharing them with others. My search for the perfect way to tell all the stories I wanted to tell took me on a journey through various places: prose, poetry, interactive fiction and finally, visual novels. You're here for the two last ones, unless I decide to expand even further. Who knows.

Moved by spite and sheer audacity Inspired by various cryptic dreams I had, the liminality of the endless fields of Polish villages and surrounding little towns I began writing in the Oneiron universe in early 2021. Back then, it was an interactive fiction project. A year later I participated in the first Amare Jam, encouraged by the Amare Dev community, and since then, I fell in love with VN deving, participated in many more jams and met incredible, talented people. As of 2024, I reconnected with my interactive fiction roots and began experimenting with settings, themes and all that fun stuff.

In my works, I love to explore a wide variety of characters, feelings and relationships. I enjoy writing stories that are inherently queer, emotionally hard-hitting, and perhaps blending what's real and what's not from time to time. Here, you'll find supernatural drama blending with the ordinary life - something I like to call "casual magic" - and more "down to earth", realistic pieces.
