Development and release of floor systems components towards 2010 MY HD Ram trucks launch.
- Re-release floor vinyls due to an initial release issue that shut down the plant during pilot phase.
- Coordinate an execute the communization of floor carpets part numbers for manual transmission and automatic transmission trucks

- Modify carry over floor components to support new 2010 ram truck
- Manage floor suppliers through the development of brand new components for new cab size of ram trucks.

- To avoid increase of complexity on floor part numbers I proposed to have a die cut at the sequencer and make a cut out in that facility before sequencing, parts would arrive flat.

Coordinate the activities with the engineering team, assembly plants, suppliers, platform team and other functional groups through the launch phase of the Interior Trim components for the 2014 MY Ram trucks for global markets.

Coordinate the activities with the engineering team, assembly plants, suppliers, platform team and other functional groups through the launch phase of the Interior Trim components for the 2014 MY Ram trucks for global markets.

The challenge here was having 2 assembly plants making ram trucks, several supplier locations making components to meet the volumes for this program, different platform teams depending if it is light duty or heavy duty and different requirements depending the price class or package for the truck.

The complexity is overwhelming and the requirements are very strict, you are not allowed to make mistakes or it could be extremely expensive to the company. Mostrar menos

Quality concerns with the previous material led us to switch to PP on headliners.
This project started about a year prior being PC but during this time frame the activities to lead were:

- Implement recovery actions for a 4 months delay of the equipment.
