🚗💡 Lights, Camera – Safety! Polestar :-) Polestar Austria CEO Thomas Hörmann and Elisabeth Binder (Polestar Communication and Marketing) visited ZKW in Wieselburg last week. Although the home of Polestar vehicles is in Sweden, some of the technology comes from Austria: from ZKW! – such as the headlights in the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3! The headlights are not only a visual feature of the car, but above all an important safety element. In the Polestar 3, 1.3 million tiny mirrors combined with the front camera ensure that other road users are not dazzled and that the beam of light is precisely and seamlessly focused on other areas. A highlight for drivers in the truest sense of the word! The collaboration with ZKW and Polestar is based on a vision of climate-friendly and future-oriented mobility. In October, experts from the automotive industry met there to present the latest innovations and developments. We jointly attended with our cooperation partner REHAU Automotive and took the opportunity to present our progress on the Seamless Intelligent Vehicle Front – a groundbreaking solution for vehicle lighting and sensor integration 💡🚘. 🌟 ZKW Topoľčany Night Run 2024: Great atmosphere, amazing performances! 🌟 The original date, Friday the 13th, was not favourable for us, because the extreme weather that hit almost the whole of Europe spoiled our plans. But nothing stopped us from hitting the streets of Topoľčany 2 weeks later. The ZKW Topoľčany Night Run was successfully held on the alternative date - Friday 27.9.2024 at 20:00 - and the atmosphere was fantastic! 🏃♂️🏃♀️ Almost 600 runners took part in the run, including 50 participants from ZKW Slovakia! All of them successfully reached the finish line. 🔥🏅 Those with the best time were presented with well-deserved awards by the Mayor of Topolcany, Alexandra Gieciová and for ZKW Slovakia Director of Engineering Ivan Maršálek 👏. This year was exceptional: We recorded a record number of registered runners from our company and we prepared for all participants a special ZKW tent with refreshments, great atmosphere 🎉 and of course we did not miss what belongs to ZKW - bright light, this time - headlight Cupra Terramar - "develeped & made" in Slovakia. Of course, a big thank you to the organizer of the event - the Youth Information Centre in Topolcany (ICM Topoľčany).
