Newly accredited Ambassadors present credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of South Africa, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the State of Palestine and of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay presented April 19 their Letters of Credence to the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj. 

Following the ceremony, Mr Elbegdorj met with the newly appointed Ambassadors. The Ambassador of Macedonia Mr Ilija Isailovsky said he will work hard to enhance bilateral relations. The President wished him a success in the diplomatic mission. Last year marked the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Macedonia, noted the President and expressed a belief that a lot of untapped possibilities exist to cooperate naming agriculture, tourism and education the most possible areas of cooperation.
At the meeting with the Ambassador of South Africa Ms Dolana Msimang the President said Mongolia views South Africa as its close partner in Africa and wished her success in future endeavors. 
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Netherlands Mr Ron Keller, the President said our country has always been grateful to the people of the Netherlands for actively developing a cooperation with Mongolia through consistent support to our democracy, social and economic reforms, and for sharing experiences, providing financial and technical assistances during tough transition tines started in 1990s. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1972, a cooperation has been expanding in agriculture, travel, economy and other sectors. 
The Ambassador of Palestine Mr Khaled M.Miari said he is glad to be appointed the Ambassador to Mongolia, and that he will work to enhance a cooperation. The President wished him success in the diplomatic mission and added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President’s Office of Mongolia will support him in the mission. 
At the meeting with Ambassador of Uruguay Mr Fernando Lugris, the President said Mongolia attaches an importance to the development of bilateral relations with Latin American countries, in particular with Uruguay. The Ambassador pledged to put all his effort to boost the relations with Mongolia. 
The leader of Mongolia wished the Ambassadors successes in their endeavors and a good health.
