Can you hear those sleigh bells in the distance?
Yup, we can’t believe it either, but Christmas is just around the corner, and it’s time to stock up on essentials.
Thankfully, one major supermarket got the memo too, and is dishing out decent deals for loyal customers – but you’ll have to be quick.
For this weekend only, Asda has slashed the prices of its large confectionary tubs for customers using the Asda Rewards app.
Think Quality Street, Roses, Heroes, Celebrations and more.Â
Considering Christmas chocolates cost 50% more than usual last year, and the price of chocolate surging still, this is pretty handy.Â
Until tomorrow night (Sunday 27), you’ll be able to get two tubs of Christmas chocolates for £5, making the price per tub just £2.50.
That’s down from two for £9, so you’ll be saving £2 per tub.
To access the deal, just go to your Asda Reward app, where coupons for this weekend’s deals will appear in the ‘wallet’ section. Then, show the coupons at the till upon checking out.Â

It’s a single-use coupon, so you’ll only get to use it on one pair of boxes.
Beware, though, the coupons are only available to use in store, and will no longer be valid by Monday.
Plus, the coupon is single-use, so you’ll only be able to redeem the offer on one pair of boxes. Any others you grab will still cost £9 for two.Â

It’s also a good idea to get the coupon ready before you head out for your big shop, as Billie-jo Moorehouse on Facebook wrote: ‘I just went [to Asda] and you have to create the coupon before you get to the till to get £4 off the two boxes.Â
‘The signal is notoriously bad inside supermarkets and even on their wifi it took forever to load!’
Naturally, members were delighted at the find, with Kimberley Massey labelling Asda’s deal ‘a bargain,’ while Naomi J Newman noted that their family needed ‘to get some,’ and Hazel Kemp described the price as ‘great.’
So, what are you waiting for? We’ll see you down the Asda aisles!
